AmbiHouse
Paid search and conversion tracking for a timber frame home builder, set up from scratch. The client raised the budget based on the results.
From the Google Ads account, Jul 13–Oct 27, 2026 (612 clicks, 7,369 impressions). Benchmark from my launch report.
The brief
AmbiHouse builds custom timber frame homes, and one signed project can be worth €400k or more. Every lead matters.
They had no paid search, tracking that didn't work, and no real way to tell where enquiries came from. The job: reach self-builders who already have plans, and prove what's working.
How it worked
What I did
Set up Google Business Profile, GTM and GA4, and moved the enquiry form to an embedded Typeform.
Conversion tracking from scratch, so every form submission reports back to Google Ads.
A Search campaign aimed at self-builders across four counties, with ad copy approved by the owner.
40+ negative keywords to block competitor brands, granny flats, log cabins and extensions.
Adjusted bidding and budget as data came in, and flagged the site's slow mobile load for the redesign.
The results
CTR across the campaign, about double the 3–5% home-services benchmark
best week (Sep 7)
average cost per click, under the €3 target
enquiries a week from the form
the client raised ad spend based on results
